Since the early 1950s, when Harold Heath founded our company, Heath Tecna has engineered, built, and certified interior components for more than 7,000 aircraft around the globe. Today, more than 20% of all operating passenger aircraft with more than 100 seats have our interior components installed.
We offer exacting engineering services, a flexible design approach, and cutting-edge manufacturing capabilities, which allows us to design and craft unique cabin furnishings for our customers. We’ve built a wide-range of furniture, monuments, and other furnishings including coat closets and other stowages, VCC units, workstations, lavatories, bar units, sofas, cabin dividers, supplementary seat furniture, and more. We also specialize in supplying beautiful cabin interiors, producing architectural components for retrofit kits that may include ceiling panels, life raft stowages, linings, valances, shields, overhead bin systems, bin extension kits, PSU parts, rails, sidewalls, sidewall stowages, dadoes, floor panels, structures, and other miscellaneous equipment.
As a business that runs as a one-stop shop, we operate a Repair Station, certified by the FAA under CFR Part 145, within our Bellingham, Washington headquarters. It is staffed with skilled technicians who maintain, repair, and overhaul aircraft interior equipment. Furthermore, we have a great spares team, who is AS9120 certified to distribute spare parts for the aerospace industry.
Joining the Zodiac Aerospace Family
In September 2011, Zodiac Aerospace acquired Heath Tecna, and the result of this was that our offerings complemented, as well as broadened Zodiac Aerospace’s portfolio of products and services, allowing the Group to better serve airline customers in the retrofit market. As a subsidiary of Zodiac Aerospace, Heath Tecna became a founding member and leader of the Zodiac Airline Cabin Interiors division in February of 2013, which is comprised of a trio of Zodiac companies located in Bellingham, WA (USA), La Palma, CA (USA) and Toulouse (FR). The Zodiac Airline Cabin Interiors division reports to the Zodiac Cabin & Structures segment, whose central mission is to design, certify, manufacture, and support the world’s most innovative aircraft interiors and composite structures for new and aged passenger aircraft.
Building on robust quality systems, members of our quality team have the mission of striving for continuous improvements in all aspects of our business. This mission is embraced by everyone at Heath Tecna.
Our company holds various certifications and approvals from governmental regulatory agencies, quality associations, and from airframe OEMs. These qualifications were obtained for our production operations, or were acquired for our aftermarket activities.
